A fine lingerie boutique owned and operated by a mother-daughter team had established a reputation for excellent customer satisfaction and superior merchandise. Their mandate was for their new store to be an elegant comfortable space that was inviting to both male and female clientele.
The design team met with the clients regularly throughout the design process to ensure that the new store image would be a reflection of their personalities. In order to highlight the special nature of the merchandise, they developed a "mini-boutique" concept that would differentiate between design houses while "synergising" into a unified boutique. Inspired by lingerie, the vocabulary of layers, translucency, intimacy and mystery, was established for the interior concept.
